DADDING

Parenting changes everyone—and for me, it was no different. When I first learned I was becoming a father,
I searched for parenting advice but quickly realized most of the content spoke only to mothers.
Living in Sweden, where gender equality is part of daily life, I experienced firsthand how parental leave, household tasks,
and child-rearing responsibilities are shared equally—so unlike Brazil, my home country, where the sexist mindset still sees these as a mother’s job.
Out of this gap came Dadding: a YouTube channel created to share the father’s perspective—both fears and joys—
while highlighting the importance of gender equality and encouraging men to be present in raising their children.
Through casual tips and conversations filmed on stroller walks, Dadding aims to inspire dads to become better fathers, better partners, and better men—myself included.
